PIAC has contributed to a new book called Mean Streets: A report on the
Criminalisation of Homelessness in Europe, published by European NGO
Housing Rights Watch and FEANTSA (the European Federation of National
Organisations working with the Homeless).
The book brings together articles from academics, activists,
lawyers and NGOs from all over the world on the topics of homelessness, human
rights and penalisation.
PIAC’s chapter, which was written by the Homeless Persons’
Legal Service Senior Policy Officer, Lou Schetzer, examines the legal needs of
homeless people in Sydney.
