The focus of this submission is PIAC’s proposal for a Stolen Generations Reparations Tribunal, developed in consultation with Indigenous communities in response to the recommendations of the Bringing them home report, to provide an alternative to litigation. The submission includes a proposed Stolen Generations Reparations Bill, encapsulating the Reparations Tribunal model in legislative form.
