Over the past year, the Public Interest Advocacy Centre has responded to the emergencies of the COVID-19 pandemic, while continuing to improve the everyday life of people who are marginalised or experiencing disadvantage.
We’ve been working to improve the NDIS; helping to meet the needs of people who are experiencing homelessness; advocating for affordable and sustainable energy and water; collaborating to raise the age of criminal responsibility; fighting disability discrimination – and much more.
