PIAC has two new additions to its board of directors: Annemarie Lumsden from Legal AID NSW and Rebecca Gilsenan from law firm Maurice Blackburn.
Ms Lumsden (pictured) is the Executive Director, Strategic Policy, Planning and Management Reporting at Legal Aid NSW. She has held a number of senior roles during 13 years at Legal Aid NSW. Her earlier experience includes seven years at the Legal Aid Office ACT, as well as working in private practice and government.
Ms Gilsenan is a Principal at Maurice Blackburn where her practice focuses on class actions in the areas of price fixing, failed investment schemes and product liability.
They join fellow PIAC directors Merrilyn Walton, Kevin Rozzoli AM, David Weisbrot AM, Coralie Kenny, Britta Bruce, Alison Peters, Alan Kirkland, Ralph Pliner and Peter Cashman (chairman).
