WA to provide compensation for Stolen Wages

In the early and mid-1900s, many Indigenous people had their wages withheld by employers and the government, which is now known as a period of ‘stolen wages’. The Western Australian Government has announced compensation payments, but many are saying it’s not enough. The Wire spoke to PIAC solicitor Laura Brown about the proposed scheme.
