PIAC acknowledges National Sorry Day today and pays respect to the members of the Stolen Generations, Indigenous Australians who were forcibly removed by Australian governments from their families and loved ones.
PIAC will continue to advocate for justice for Indigenous Australians, including recognition of the inter-generational effects of forcible removal. Unfinished business includes proper recognition of the Stolen Generations, the return of stolen wages and an end to discrimination.
