Kira Levin

Kira joined PIAC as Managing Solicitor of the HPLS in November 2020.  Kira began her career as a criminal lawyer at Victoria Legal Aid before moving to Brimbank Melton Community Legal Centre where she established and managed a family violence program.  In 2014 she relocated to NSW and commenced worked as a criminal lawyer with the Environmental Defenders Office.  In this role she established a specialist legal service supporting members of the community charged with offences as a result of their involvement in non-violent civil disobedience. Most recently, she managed and coordinated the community legal education work at Women’s Legal Service, NSW.

Kira has a Bachelor of Laws from La Trobe University and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Melbourne.
