
Deep cuts to how much NSW electricity customers can be charged over the next four years which promise to deliver annual savings of up to $300 on household bills will be appealed by state-owned companies ordered to implement them.
But a legal challenge has also been lodged on behalf of NSW consumers by the Public Interest Advocacy Centre (PIAC), which says the revenue cuts – and therefore savings to electricity users – should be larger
