Community Caseworker, Women's Homelessness Prevention Service

Christina Kasavetis
Christina has been a Community Caseworker with the Women’s Homelessness Prevention Service (WHPS) in the Homeless Persons’ Legal Service (HPLS) since October 2022. 
 
Christina assists WHPS lawyers by providing trauma-informed, non-legal support and referrals to women who are experiencing or at risk of homelessness. 
 
Christina has six years’ experience supporting young people with developmental disabilities and complex trauma to transition into more independent living options, whilst decreasing the likelihood of homelessness or entering the criminal justice system. Christina has a Diploma in Community Services, Certificate IV in Youth Work and Certificate IV in Training and Assessment.
