NDIS: 2022 The Year In Review

2022 has been a year of significant change to the laws, policies and practices governing the National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and the National Disability Insurance Agency (NDIA).

NDIS: 2022 The Year in Review by the Public Interest Advocacy Centre and Dr Darren O’Donovan at LaTrobe University can help NDIS participants and disability advocates unpack major developments and cases, explaining how they may impact the NDIS and the people who rely on it. The report also tracks the progress of promised reforms and canvasses further changes expected in 2023.

The NDIS provides essential support and dignity to around half a million Australians who live with disability. Our collaborative work with determined clients, disability rights organisations and advocates remains focused on unlocking the Scheme’s full promise and potential.
