The Public Interest Advocacy Centre made a submission to the Australian Energy Market Operator (AEMO) B2B working group in response to their pre-consultation Discussion Paper on  Coincident Service Orders for de-energisation and re-energisations

PIAC supported the assessment of the issues presented and highlighted the need to ensure that procedures maintain strong protection of continued supply for consumers. Connection should be prioritised over disconnection where they are in apparent conflict. Simple communications protocols to support this principle should be preferred over expensive or complicated systems changes.
