Leaders from the South Western Sydney CALD Communities Coalition, including those from Sydney’s Spanish, Timorese, Turkish, South American and Islamic communities, will meet in Canley Vale this weekend to participate in a leadership training program.
PIAC will deliver two of the program’s workshops. The first of these concentrates on working with the media, the second focuses on advocacy skills. Participants will also hear from the Federal Minister for Immigration and Citizenship, Chris Bowen.
