This supplementary submission responds to the questions that were raised with Ms Simpson during the public hearing into the NSW Legislative Council’s Select Committee’s Inquiry on the NSW Taxi Industry in February 2010. The main issues that PIAC deals with in the supplementary submission are how to improve the existing reporting standards to ensure that they better reflect consumers’ experience of, and provide for better consumer feedback about wheelchair accessible taxis in NSW.
