Working in partnership with others
PIAC regularly works in partnership with other organisations to deliver training. We’ve worked with the National Network of Indigenous Women’s Legal Services on Our Strong Women, a national training project to promote Indigenous women’s community leadership, and with the NSW Mental Health Co-ordinating Council to develop training for health workers. PIAC also works in partnership with the Cancer Council NSW to train consumer advocates.
A nationally recognised training organisation
PIAC is a nationally Registered Training Organisation under the Australian Quality Training Framework. We are registered by the NSW Vocational Education and Training Accreditation Board (VETAB) to deliver training, conduct assessment, and issue the qualifications Provide Systems Advocacy Services – CHCAD603A and Provide Advocacy and Representation Services – CHCAD504A. These units of competence are nationally recognised and provide future opportunities to complete Certificate IV and Diploma level qualifications.
